Looking Glass Day Nursery and Preschool in Tooting offers an exceptionally high standard of childcare and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

 

At Looking Day Nursery our ethos is based on the understanding that children are foremost their own educators - natural learners with ability, curiosity and imagination.  A child's experience in the early years has a major impact on their future. We believe each child deserves the best possible start in life and the support to fulfill their potential. As professionals we nurture their learning by providing the opportunity and tools to enable all our children to be happy, secure and independent individuals. Our nursery follows the government's Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in order to provide the assurance to parents or carers that our care and education provision will keep their children safe and support their learning. In a typical day, children can participate in creative activities, sand and water play, story time and circle time, as well as having fun outdoors.

 

 

Whether you require full time early years education or part time childcare for your child the nursery will do their upmost to accommodate your requirements.

 

We provide childcare from 7.30am to 6.30pm, 52 weeks per year. Children can attend our nursery or preschool for full days (7.30am to 6.30pm) or half days (7.30am to 1pm or 1pm to 6.30pm).

 

Our nursery and preschool services are fully inclusive so your child will receive meals, snacks, milk, even nappies are provided. See Meals and Nutrition for further information.
